Writing really is fun! I teach a kindergarten classroom of students who are anxious to learn, but need the opportunity to investigate ways to write other than with pencil and paper. Our school is a school in which 99% of students receive free lunch. This basically means that funding for supplies is left up to the teacher and people like you who offer a helping hand.

My students main obstacle is lack of exposure to the common things that most take for granted. Most of them have never had a Magna Doodle. This offers them the chance to write with a tool that keeps them involved and focused.

By providing this tool to the students, you will enable my students to see writing as "play" rather than a task. Making learning fun is what teaching is about.

The opportunity to bring writing to life for my students is a once in a lifetime chance. Help me make them happy and successful!
