Get students involved with technology and history! My students are a mixture of 9th-11th graders. Our school has a transient population in high need of technology. Students with special needs are incorporated into regular education classes, which increases the diversity in our school.

Many students do not own cameras. Many students have very few photos of themselves, much less of them doing academic work. As a result of this students do not have the means to take photos of historical events in the community. I want to bridge this gap and have a classroom camera for the purpose of taking photos of students working and interacting with history. I want them to see themselves as historians!

I need a digital camera and printer for the classroom. This will benefit the students in that the pictures can be taken and printed that day! They can be proud of their achievements. With the camera the students can be proud of being a historian and gain self esteem.
