Technology the Future of Mathematics

My students need 25 scientific calculators in order to complete assignments in Algebra and Geometry.

I can teach anything from remediation to calculus. The coming school year I will teach remediation for ISTEP and Geometry. My school has a high need for calculators in the classroom. Students have trouble getting to a store to purchase class material due to the rural setting of the school.

Currently our school provides basic functioning calculators. Remediation classes and Geometry classes require scientific calculators in order to be successful.

These calculators will help students prepare for test and become less stressed about not having the technology needed for my class.

You will be making it possible for my students to succeed on required state test as well as becoming successful in the classroom. Confidence in the classroom becomes confidence on the test.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
