Sew What? Kids allowed to create projects have a more profound knowledge of English and pass state tests. I want all kids to learn to love English. As a result, I need help challenging kids to read more, write more and learn more grammar. With the use of a sewing machine, 20 hot glue guns, 400 glue sticks, 1000 foam shapes, 1 craft kit of wiggly eyes, pom poms, feathers and other craft materials, 72 glitter glue tubes, and 70 red artistic portfolios to store all Kid-Made items, kids will learn more about English reading, writing and grammar. Kids will also express their ideas in a variety of diverse ways.

Please make my kids' visions come true by giving our English class a sewing machine and other craft supplies to make English Rock! Many of my kids also have costume class. With a sewing machine in English class, students will be able to create their own photo journal pocket charts, quilts, diary book covers, pillow projects, and other standards based projects, designed to engage gifted and honor students in particular.

With a donation of a sewing machine, sewing kit, hot glue guns, glue sticks, glitter paint, transparencies, gems, and other craft items, kids will develop thinking skills while using adult technology and resources.

People like you make it possible for teachers like me to give kids the kinds of learning experiences they need to pass state tests and graduate. A sewing machine in the classroom provides the students with ability to express their thoughts creatively. Thank you for helping me become a better teacher!
