My students need 25 nonfiction books to complete planet research projects.

My classroom is full of excited and enthusiastic fifth graders who love science and are ready to travel the planets of the solar system.

We are ready for space exploration and will visit all of the planets in our solar system. Students will participate in an in-depth project where they will explore a planet, it's atmosphere, and even get to create a life form that would be able to live on this planet given it's resources!

We aren't asking for a spaceship... only a class set of nonfiction science books that will take us on our virtual field trip. The books requested will allow students to take charge of their own learning. Investigating planets in teams, students will not only learn advanced science concepts, but will also develop valuable research, reading, and cooperative/social skills.

Your help will allow my students to travel the solar system and participate in this engaging science project.
