Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am teaching fourth grade in a school with many English language learners. We are in California and many of my students are fluent in two languages, including Spanish, Russian, and Tagalog!

I had twenty brand new dictionaries donated by a local rotary club, so I was able to replace many of my old dictionaries which were falling apart. My students were thrilled to have these beautiful new books!

However, fourteen of my dictionaries are twenty years old, out-dated, and falling apart. As a result we often share the dictionaries with our partners. I would love to have fourteen more dictionaries to complete my new set. With careful handling, they will last me another twenty years!

Children need to know that adults care enough to provide high-quality resources. Your donation will go a long way to sending that message to my students!
