Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

These Weekly Readers are for a very low-income first grade class. Our district has cut funding tremendously and have taken our Weekly Readers away from us.

My students are missing their Weekly Readers very much! We learn social studies and science with these Weekly Readers. Weekly Readers are a great way to put non-fiction reading into the hands of students.

We will need a unit of Weekly Readers for 25 students. This will allow the students to learn social studies and science through non-fiction text.

Your help will ensure my students have the opportunity to learn about many social studies and science concepts through the real life connections that the Weekly Reader delivers.
