Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 6th-8th grade music in a very low-income, high need district. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer our students a diverse fine arts program, which benefits them greatly.

In music class, many opportunities arrive to teach a melody or chord progression on piano. Unfortunately, we don't have enough classroom instruments to take advantage of these teachable moments.

We need 30 portable keyboards. With these, we can ensure that EVERY student in class will receive real hands-on piano playing experience.

The students absolutely love having the chance to play on real instruments...something many of them don't get outside of school. You can help them have this valuable experience and enrich their lives greatly!
