"Going Green" is the new in phrase captivating our next generation. Why not provide students with the opportunity to save their memories of the changing world through digital photos? I am a 4th grade teacher who wants to provide her students with a chance to make memories of the community that they live in. My students live near the wetlands and what a better moment than now to help the children grasp our changing world.

Our natural environment is changing so rapidly that it is important for our children to think, write, and make a difference through the use photographs. Given the opportunity children will be able to take photos and print them in the class. I will then use these photos to engage them in writing, and science.

My students are in need of a digital photo printer and the paper to print their memories of our community on.

You will make it possible for the next generation to make a difference by actually experiencing the changes in our community on camera. Students need to learn how easy it is to make a difference in our world. Writing based on photos, is the best way to grab a students attention, especially if they are the journalists. We are the "Green Generation."
