"Creating a safe haven for student learning! I teach Kindergarten at a Title I Charter school.

Even though this is a low-income area, I believe my students deserve a fabulous environment that nurtures curiosity and inquiry. Even though our school budget does not allow for discretionary funds I would love to purchase this fabulous rug for whole group learning and read-a-louds where we could chase through the pages and journey to other worlds through literature.

The money that is needed would be enough to purchase this important piece of my welcoming classroom where children can feel special as they sit or lay on the rug to read or learn.

Through your wonderful generosity and support my children will have a safe,caring environment that shows them that their teacher and the public community feel that they deserve the very best surroundings to learn in. hide»
