Mrs. Walker McAnnulty Elementary School
Pittsburgh, PA Grades PreK-2

I teach 21 second graders in suburban Pennsylvania. My district encourages students to display their work throughout the classrooms and hallways. My students love to see their work posted for their classmates and peers to see.

My students are so proud of their work, and they love to be able to share their masterpieces with everyone in our school. However, my second graders still have large printing, and it is difficult for them to fit all of their knowledge onto typically 8.5 by 11 inch paper. My students love to be able to use legal size, or even 11x17 inch paper for their projects. However, our district provides a limited supply of legal sized paper, and they do not provide 11x17 inch paper for the students' use.

My second graders would love to have a variety of sizes and colors of paper to create their projects and demonstrate their knowledge. They need bright colored paper to provide extra motivation to create nice, neat displays, and they need large paper so that they have enough room to display all of their learning in a neat manner. With large, colorful paper, my students will be able to create bright displays in our hallways that make the empty walls a more pleasing sight for everyone!

Your support will ensure that my students are able to share their learning and knowledge with each other. You will make it possible for my students to create large, neat displays that can be shared with not only their classmates, but other students throughout the school. You will help make our school a brighter and more enjoyable place to learn!
