Trumpet Needed

My student needs a trumpet to replace one that was damaged beyond repair by another student. Neither mom can afford to replace the damaged trumpet. The student will be forced to quit band if he cannot get another trumpet somehow.

A low-income student is in need of a trumpet to continue his great progress in band. This student has a physical disability and has found he can excel on trumpet.

This student's mom pinched to save and buy him a trumpet because he really wanted to be in band. Another student had knocked it off a chair and the bell bent and nearly fell off. We don't have school owned trumpets so we cannot provide one for him. Neither parent can afford to replace the trumpet. This child really struggled at the beginning of the year and then made great improvement. If he cannot get another trumpet he will be forced to drop out of band.

If we get a trumpet we could allow this student to play the school owned instrument as long as he continues in band. Once he graduates (8th grade) or quits the trumpet comes back to the school for another student in need to use.

Many times students can struggle in subjects, but excel in music. This student does struggle in academic subjects and could really succeed in music. He's done a nice job on trumpet and I would like to see him continue on trumpet.
