I teach 3rd grade in Central PA. Based on the students academic needs, my class changes throughout the year. I often have students who learn best with hands on learning.

Because my students struggle learning abstract concepts, it is very hard for them to be successful without hands on manipulatives to help them learn. I do not have the needed supplies to teach these concepts.

It would be great to have liquid measurement containers to explain the difference between a gallon and a pint or a Liter and a milliliter. It would be awesome for each of my students to have a clock that they could manipulate the hands to learn about telling time. It would be super for each one of my students to have the ability to use a geoboard to make and study shapes.

You can make learning possible! The uses of these manipulatives are endless. You could make the difference in the way my students learn. Putting these manipulatives in their hands and letting them explore the concept does more than what I teach them.
