"Lights, Action, Project" all student PowerPoint presentations will allow whole class interaction with reports. My students are from a rural backgrounds of southern Louisiana and are part of a 750+ student enrollment with only 3rd and 4th graders. Over 40% of my students are classified as "inclusion" special education students for deficits ranging from ADHD to behavioral challenged to ESL. These 4th grade students are inspired and eager to learn all aspects of Math and Science as they are presented to them through multimedia and hands on activities.

My students are actively involved in creating PowerPoints to illustrate their knowledge on a variety of Math and Science topics. Now, my students are ready for the "big screen!" They would love to present their PowerPoints via projector to the whole class, instead of on the small computer monitor or orally, one or two students at a time. Let them project!!

An InFocus projector will enable my students in becoming "directors" of their PowerPoint reports. My students create multi-slide reports of a variety of topics from life cycles to steps of multiplication but are limited in presenting their "productions" to printouts or one-on-one shows. With an InFocus projector, my students can become "active directors" of their works. This interaction will benefit my students two-fold: the presenters will become proficient in speaking, and delivering information to others; while their audiences will learn what others have researched in an interactive, visual, and audio manner. Thereby, all retaining greater knowledge and maintaining ownership of their learning.

Without a projector provided by your generous donation, my students' researches will remain individual. However, with your generous donation, my students will become active in everyone's research and presentation.
