Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach math ( algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and statistics-- all in one year) to 9th and 10th graders using an interactive/ multi-sensory approach. This approach in the 21st century requires the use of computer technology.

I have the software resources, experience, and knowledge to teach students using a technological/interactive approach but they need a multi-media projector to access it.

My classroom needs a multi-media projector for the great PowerPoint activities and on-line activities in order to help students learn mathematics in a way that they have never been exposed before.

The contribution would help my special education students who need a different approach to learning. It would also help my regular education students who are learning a lot of math, a way to learn even more.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
