I teach 25 K-6 General Music classes, 5th and 6th grade chorus, 4th grade instrumental lessons, 6th grade vocal ensemble, 5th and 6th grade guitar club and assist with 4th - 6th grade folk band. The last 3 are after school groups. Wide range of social classes with the majority being middle class students.

Many students want to join guitar club, but don't have an instrument. I currently have 2 school guitars, and would like to let some students that don't have an instrument try it through a lottery system. In order to do that I would need more than 2 instruments which would give more students the chance at earning a spot through a guitar lottery.

Guitars are all I need to add a lottery system to my current program. All other resources for the program are provided by me.

By supporting this program, you are giving the gift of music to a child that might otherwise not get the exposure. I have seen wonderful changes in the students that participate in my current group such as better socialization skills, confidence in performing, and improving grades. Please help more students have this chance in life.
