Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach Bilingual Kindergarten class in a Title I school. 98% of my students are economically disadvanged.

My students have to start their creative writing since the beginning of school year. They get very interested in simple books and have the opportunity to read them and recreate their knowledge in their own words. Now they do not have access to their favorite stories and their supplies they bring from home are not in an easy place they can reach.

With this center, they will be motivated to get to their own box, pick their own stories, and create their own stories with the material of their choice.

You will make this project to be possible for my five year-old children! Your help will motivate their self creativity and develop their interest for reading and writing and they may become future authors!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
