Math is my students' favorite subject! They enjoy it, and they are successful. I teach 3rd and 4th grade in a district and community that struggle to provide many of the extras that others take for granted.

Students work best when they are engaged. My students enjoy activities that are hands-on, where they can manipulate materials to gain a better, deeper understanding of the concept. Our district does not have many of the essential math manipulatives; those that we do have are shared between several classrooms.

The Time and Place Value kits will help my students grasp the basics they require in order to build further knowledge. During whole class instruction, the overhead projector manipulatives will allow me to present information quickly and concisely, while offering the opportunity for select students to immediately exhibit their understanding to the class. The individual, hands-on materials provide the chance for students to work independently at their own pace or in pairs.

Your help will enable my students to explore mathematics in a whole new way. We appreciate your support of education!
