I teach in a 2nd grade classroom comprised of students with mixed reading abilities. Some of my students absolutely dread reading and others can't get enough!

Since this is my first year to inspire young minds, I would love to be able to offer them exciting, hands-on work stations to practice their reading skills. When my students have done work stations in the past (usually with the ones I have handmade), they get so excited and can't wait to read!

I have chosen 12 work stations and Hot Dots that will reinforce a number of reading skills from learning synonyms and contractions to building words using prefixes and suffixes. Every work station offers students plenty of independent practice, so that they are in control of mastering their reading skills. They offer students an interesting, hands-on way to approach reading. They are so much more exciting than worksheets and lecture!

With your help, I can help inspire my students to love reading! Learning these essential reading skills now will help them be successful for the remainder of their educational experience. We have a wonderful opportunity to create life-long readers! Thank you in advance for your help!
