I teach in an inclusion classroom. I teach all students at a variety of academic levels.

Many of my children struggle with reading skills and desperately want to read at grade level. These children work hard to learn skills that allow them to improve in reading; however, many of them are behind grade level and want to read grade level literature that is appropriate for them. Roald Dahl books entertain a variety of grade levels and are exciting and fun to read. These book encourage children to follow along as they listen to the text. By reading along, they are not only improving fluency skills, but are also improving other reading skills and vocabulary as well.

I need a variety of literature books and CDs for my students to read and learn from. I've chosen the Roald Dahl package because it applies to many of my students and is engaging to a vast majority of my children. They will read along to the CD and learn reading strategies and skills while enjoying terrific literature that they can discuss with friends.

Your donation to this project will enhance my reading program and excite and invigorate my students. Some of them have lost focus on reading and need a new and motivating series to recaptivate them. I believe that this set of books will do just that!
