My Students

My class is reading, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing. I want the students to want to read and enjoy reading books.

These are 6th grade students in a new middle school environment.

Changing 8 classes and mingled in with 4 different schools. We are located in northern West Virginia. Our county has 3 middle schools and we are the newest that just opened last year.

My Project

We adopted a new reading series this year with no hard copy materials. I have access to everything online. So anything we need to do to reinforce learning needs to be copied from my computer. The stories are also online, and my classroom only has 4 computers. So speakers will aid in listening to the story as a whole class.

Truthfully there will be no changed lives because of technology.

The changed lives will come from a stressfree classroom with a teacher who cares for each student and wants the best learning environment.
