This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The athletics program is off and running!! We are gearing up for football, volleyball, basketball, and track!! Strength training is essential for our athletes.

Our school is centrally located in this beautiful country.

Our school is classified as a Federal Title 1 School with 65% of our students receiving free or reduced meals. Our students love to play football, volleyball. basketball. and run track. They work hard and they play hard!

My Project

The students will be using the barbells in their weight and strength training regiments of their work-outs. By adding appropriate weights to the barbells and using the weight benches, students will be able to get an optimum work-out and learn to develop routines to build stamina and muscle endurance.

The donation of the barbells will give our students an opportunity to use strength and weight training in their physical activities.

Students will gain an appreciation for physical activity that will carry forward into their healthy adult lives.
