My students need a mini dv camcorder and tapes.

Students in my classroom get to experience high tech careers through computers, books and hands on projects. My middle school students in a high-need community in California, learn about 15 high tech careers, including digital music, video productions, research and development flight and space technology and more. These modules introduce students to careers with both college and non college paths.

A small piece of equipment is making the video productions module inoperable. The mini dv camcorder has broken and costs more to replace than to repair. The module allows students to create their own TV show with captions, sound and video effects, etc. The module uses a MAC desktop computer, which is currently not being used because of a small cost camcorder needed for the module.

I need a mini dv video camcorder to make this module operable. The video production module, the favorite of my students, creates excitement regarding this high tech career.
