Our school has no art teacher and no art supplies. Therefore, my students have never been exposed to anything in this area. My students have always asked if we could do art, but unfortunately due to the lack of any supplies I have not been able to set aside an art period. I have always requested the students to bring in art supplies, but due to the lack of funds, they have not been able to provide any.
I would love to share the love of art and creativity with my student. I know that I have many students with the untouched talent of being artistic that would greatly benefit from these supplies. Also, I would love to have my students realize that you don't have to be artistically talented in order to be creative.
By providing my students with these materials, it will help to ensure that my students have been given the opportunity to develop and grow in the field of art. Every child should have this chance to participate in art lessons.
My students need 15 different art supplies such as drawing books, sketch pads, and different artistic mediums (pastels, watercolor, pencils).
The cost of this proposal is $549, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ."

Dear Jamie For Obama, Alex and DJ,
I cannot begin to tell you how thankful and excited I am about your generosity. My students will be ecstatic! I haven't told them about my request because I did not want them to be disappointed, but now I am bursting at the seams to let them know about the fantastic opportunity your organization has been able to offer them. I am so looking forward to begin my art projects with them since most of the students have never been exposed to this sort of educational activity. Once again, thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Randi R
