I teach agriculture in a very small rural high school in eastern North Carolina. My students are all very different. Many of my students are special education students that have a huge need for computers.

The agriculture department has worked hard on receiving eight new computers for the classes. These computers will aid students in many different learning techniques. These computers all contain a program that will greatly aid the special education students. The program reads anything out loud to them. My students are also very interested in landscape design. We will be using these computers to design gardens that will be installed around the school.

The problem is we have no furniture to place these computers on. Eight computer desks will be wonderful. Having proper furniture that is built to hold a computer is very important. A professional learning environment is crucial to get the best from all students.

Your help will ensure that my students will have a professional and functional computer center that will be used for many different learning events.
