Teaching 21st century students with a 19th century chalkboard is not working!! I teach English I and II, both of which have an end of course test that drastically affects students’ grades.

Let's face it. Students are bored and I know why. Students come in from summer vacation where they have been playing PlayStation and listening to ipods and go right into a classroom with NO technology and teachers expect them to be interested! No way!

I need this projector to insert my dynamic lessons onto a screen in a technologically savvy way that will hopefully make my students interested in vexing verbs and unsettling semicolons! I can create review games and PowerPoint presentations to capture any stubborn audience’s attention. Not to mention, I can also project images of Odysseus, Shakespeare and their writing without having to waste paper making copies.

You will not only be helping the students grasp concepts they found too boring to swallow before, but you will also be helping teachers who need that edge to push a child to succeed. After all, with images and writing projected on a large scale screen, trees will be saved! The copy machine will no longer be needed.
