Welcome to the Wonders of Pre-K! Each day in our small inner city classroom we are setting the stage for tomorrow's leaders! The future doctors, scientists, teachers and architects of tomorrow are learning and developing right here, right now! Who knows? Perhaps the next Albert Einstein, Marie Curie or Frank Lloyd Wright may be sitting in my classroom just waiting to be discovered. Therefore, it is my goal to provide my students with unlimited possibilities! Allowing children to "discover" the world around them is the most important part of my job. All children (and adults too!) learn best through active participation. The materials I have requested include large building blocks, Lincoln logs, and a variety of fine motor manipulatives that will surely spark my students' imagination! Funding this proposal will help provide my students with materials that promote creativity, problem solving and the amazing power of their own imagination. This is paramount for the development of young minds! So, please help me in this endeavor! My students need simple yet creative manipulatives that will allow them to become creative and inquisitive learners!
