Our classroom is built around a community of learners that want to see life from others viewpoints. These sixth graders are eager to learn and experience how different they are from the rest of the world

Unfortunately, the classroom's novel sets have suffered from mold and were destroyed over the summer break. This situation has made it impossible to enjoy reading our novels, "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" and "The Diary of a Young Girl, Anne Frank."

We need to replace the ruined novels with books that will enhance their desire to learn about other cultures and times of life.

Your generosity will change how a Midwest boy and girl experience everyday life. These students will grow into well-rounded citizens and be culturally aware of our multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-faceted world.
