Save Lives with CPR

My students need floor mats to practice CPR and First Aid skills.

"Classroom of Real Life" - in my class we discuss real world problems and issues students will face now in high school. Drugs, violence, smoking, alcohol and teenage sex. We give them strategies to avoid involvement and strategies to assist those that already be in trouble.

Teaching students how to do CPR on their knees on a hard cold floor is not conducive to learning or remembering what you have learned.

Imagine being able to practice your CPR and First Aid skills on a nice comfortable training mat, where you are focused on the learning not on why you have dirty knees. We have been able to raise the money to buy 10 CPR mannikins and 6 AED Trainors but we are having to do our practice on an uncomfortable classroom floor. By giving the kids a more comfortable place in which to work with these tools it is more likely they will develop the expertise necessary to save a life.

ALl students require a proper envirnment to learn whether it is computers to learn how to program or floor mats to enable them to learn a life saving skill like CPR.
