I teach elementary music K - 5th grade. We use a lot of pretend and dress up to act out our songs. The children get to perform for different classes and for the school as a whole, which helps with their self-esteem.

When we do concerts and we need costumes, my students are not able to afford to go and purchase or rent costumes, so I end up spending my money to costume all of my students, which can get expensive.

With the different costumes I am asking for, we will have costumes at our disposal. It makes learning the songs so much fun when the students can act it out.

With the costumes at our school we will be able to perform more outside of school. Also when we do skits or musicals in class, we will have everything we need right in our classroom!
