Science - Up Close and Personal!

Exploring the world under a microscope is the perfect way ignite the passion of discovery in every child! I teach 5th grade science and work with children who need hands on experiences with scientific tools. We need a Brock Magiscope Microscope.

I teach at a suburban intermediate school in Texas! I love teaching my 6 fifth grade classes because it gives me a chance to show over 150 students each day what an amazing world we live in. To really appreciate life, students need to gain an understanding about how everything on this planet depends on something else for survival.

Limited funding is a teacher's worst nightmare when it comes to teaching science. I work in a district where very little money is invested in the science lab setting. This microscope will allow more children to experience seeing life up close and person for each of my 6 classes I teach each day. Please don't limit my ability to expose our students to the beauty of life and our world in ways that you can't appreciate without a good microscope!

This Brock Microscope will allow each student more time in the lab setting and reduce the amount of time that a class of thirty has to wait to use the five microscopes we now have in our class.

Your generous donation will allow each child more time in a learning experience. Please help me give our students the best learning experience possible!
