""Thumb Drives to Fingerprint Success" and put my 7th Grade Technology Classes portfolio's at their immediate disposal.

With a rather diverse population, "roadblocks" occur in regards to equipment and supplies the students can provide on their own. Student work is saved on local machines on the campus, not the server. Students work hard at creating documents, files, and presentations that comprise their student portfolio. Thumb drives to Fingerprint all of these successes would:

a. Empower the students to share their school efforts and products with parents, grandparents, friends

b. allow students to take the device home and improve their works, print them, etc.

c. expose students to the use of external storage devices and the importance they play in our technological world

d. provide flexibility in grading for the teacher ie., work could be graded electronically as the teacher can collect the thumbdrives; grade the work; and give the thumbdrives back to the students. This also saves on paper

Our Middle School consists of grades 6th, 7th and 8th grade with a total enrollment of 750+. I teach Technology & Computer Literacy Skills across the three grade levels.

My project needs 35 Thumb Drive USB Storage Devices 512mb. The cost of this proposal is $781, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ?."
