My Students

My students and I want to stop bullies in their tracks! Through books, knowledge, positive encouragement and reinforcement. I know we can!

My students need motivation to do their best.

These incentives will give my students a boost of excitement towards doing their best and reading more. Additionally, these prizes will allow me to reward my students for being positive towards others, working hard and putting forth their best effort.

My Project

Studies show that nearly 1 in 6 children are bullied in school on a regular basis. With that shocking statistic, it is no wonder that some children are scared to come to school, some physically ill from the thought that their bully might strike again. I want to teach my students that they do not need to be the victim or the bully. They need to be the one that makes the change and do their part to treat each other with respect and kindness. By providing them with a variety of anti-bully books, such as "Bullying in Schools", I am going to instill strategies that they will need to prevent bullying. The best part is, by having great rewards and incentives such as bubbles, jump ropes, iTunes gift cards, LeapFrog app cards, books, play dough, cars, kites, and much more, I will have the resources to be able to acknowledge ALL of the students who are making good choices and treating each other with respect and kindness.
