I teach in 1st grade in an inner-city public school. My classroom consist of regular education students and special education students.

My students come disadvantaged homes. Every year when school pictures are taken, the students are very excited about having their picture taken, but only about 20% of the students purchase the pictures. School pictures are a luxury for this families.

I would like for my students to make picture scrapbooks of their time in my classroom. These scrapbooks will provide my students with memories of their year in 1st grade. I am in need of a digital camera to make these scrapbooks possible.

Your help will ensure that my students will make memories to take home. This camera would provide my students with pictures of themselves that many of them may not have otherwise.
