Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"Every school year, I get 30 enthusiastic and involved bilingual students. Since day one, they come into the classroom ready to absorb all possible knowledge surrounding them, just like little sponges ready to get wet. I am a bilingual kindergarten teacher trying to make a difference in the lives of my needy students and their families. I like to surround them with love, a sense of security, and a window to the universe where only their imagination could be the limit.

In order to build the window, I need the “right tools for the reading job.” I need to expose them to the process of reading and understanding, as many times as possible. Unfortunately, resources are very limited in my district, struggling just to keep the schools open. My students’ families are also struggling to survive and can’t help with supplies.

My little kindergartners need Spanish Alphabet Books and Spanish Emergent Readers to be able to practice forever: “From the very first to the very last day of school.”

Your donation will make it possible for my students’ busy little minds to have a variety of books and readers to start practicing the art or reading, which will allow them, their families and me, to see their continuous growth, and success in the process of writing. Please, consider making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. Prevent their failure due to the lack of gear. Every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed in life, you hold one of the keys, please give it to them!
