My students need a kidney table for 6-8 students to sit in a small group with the teacher for reading instruction.

Small group instruction is critical in the early grades! My students would benefit greatly from a kidney-shaped table that is the perfect shape for small group instruction. My kindergarten students are wonderful children who live in a low-income community, and struggle with the basic skills that they need in order to learn to read.

With so much need in their lives, it is a daily struggle to provide care as well as instruction and love that these students need most in their lives. My students thrive in my classroom, often starting from little to no English or reading skills, and growing into students with the DESIRE and DETERMINATION to learn to read.

Small group instruction in the classroom is often difficult without proper materials. We often will sit in a group of chairs, or on the floor, which makes using materials and learning skills very difficult. Having a kidney table in the room would not only provide a central location for all reading groups to take place, but also allow the teacher and students to easily access all of the materials and resources they need.

Your help will make it possible for me to provide my students with the skills and knowledge they need to become readers and lifelong learners.
