My students need 14 Science materials, including an Easy-View Classroom Aquarium with accessories, Butterfly larvae and supplies, Color Discovery Tubes, a Sink or Float Exploration Kit and a Hands-On Classification Center.

I teach science to Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders in an inner city school. More than 90% of the children are on free and reduced lunch. The families are poor in money but rich in love.

We have little or no budget this year. I LOVE teaching science and lack the necessary materials needed to do a good job. Many items such as ladybugs, caterpillars and a butterfly house, an aquarium and other hands on items often need to be replaced yearly. I want the children to love science as much as I do. I want to bring as much of the outside world into the classroom. Please consider donating to this wonderful school filled with wonderful children.

As you can see in my materials list I really need some basic things. These consumable materials will help the children have a hands on meaningful and fun science experience. Without these I may be forced to show more videos and do more worksheets (boring). The students will also do better on the Science Test.

You have no idea how excited kids get about science. When get to see and touch real living things they come alive. They get so engrossed in science. They love science and with your help they will continue to love science and maybe grow-up to be scientists!!
