Help us get ENERGIZED!! I teach 21 kindergarten students who are full of energy and are ready to learn about energy. Unfortunately, many of them have no prior knowledge of energy conservation, and this is a hard concept for them. I would like to give them some tools that will allow them to see the power of the sun in action! Imagine actually getting to see solar energy at work! I would like to provide the students with Mobilo solar building sets to play, build and learn with the sun. By combining the regular Mobilo building set and four solar sets, the students will have enough pieces to build helicopters, windmills, planes, or any other imaginative models using the fantastic solar powered wing. As soon as light falls on the solar wing it will start to rotate, captivating the students by the motion that requires solar energy only. No batteries! In addition, the students would see the power of sunlight through hands-on projects using solar beads that change color in the sun. It's solar magic in action! What a great way to teach kids about alternative energy sources, and while having lots of fun at the same time. Wow! I get chills thinking of every kindergartner internalizing the concept of solar energy. Please help transform my kindergartners into resource conservationists by giving them tools to learn about energy conservation. Together, we can make this world a cleaner, greener place...one kindergartner at a time!
