Hello amazing donors!!! I am an instructional specialist at an elementary school where 89% of the students are economically disadvantaged. This is my first year to not have a class of my own. I have started a club at my school for 22 at risk students. These are the ones who have rough home lives, behavior problems, and are at risk of failing or dropping out of school.

I have taken on a HUGE challenge, but I think the end result is going to be every bit worth it!! My goal is to help these students set goals, build good character, value education, and to give them hope for all the amazing things they can be. The problem I am facing is that some of the things I am wanting to do with this group cost money and I can't afford to pay for all of it for 22 students, so that is where I beg for your help!!

There is a book called "We Beat the Street" and it is about 3 guys who made a pact that they would overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis and be successful. I really want my club to do a book study on this book because I think they can really relate to it. They can see that others are faced with situations like theirs, and they overcame it all. This book could light the spark of hope in each one of them!

Donors....I need your HELP!! We have the opportunity to really help change the path that these students are on. We can impact their future in a positive way. Without your help, this book study will not be possible. Please help me make a difference in 22 amazing students' lives!!!
