This is Jeopardy! Quiz Games For the Young Brain

My students need 3 Eggspert Game systems and a Jeopardy scoreboard and remote.

I teach GATE: gifted and talented education grades 3-5. These kids are misfits in their regular classroom so they come to me 150 minutes a week to socialize and think in their unique ways. My job is to teach them both cognitive and social skills because they have the potential to be the leaders of the world, but they need the encouragement and support system. That is my job through cognitive, social, and service learning projects.

These type of quiz games can be so motivating to students who otherwise wouldn't share their knowledge. However, these types of games are considered luxury items. The school would never be able to find money to support a purchase like this. That is why we, my students and I, ask you.

Everyone of my students have seen the game show Jeopardy and love that type of questioning. I want to bring that competition into my own classroom. I will use Jeopardy at the end of every learning unit to review and assess the students. The game comes with pre-loaded general questions, but also blank disks for teachers to build their own games. I plan to use this feature of the game. Eggspert is the same idea of Jeopardy without all the bells and whistles. It also allows for more players. I want to add this to my request because then ALL my students can play quiz games.

There is no money for education and NEVER money for enrichment supplies. You, Donors are the only way students will get the enrichment that is so important to educational growth. Please donate:)
