Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our school is in a high need area. I teach second grade to students who have very little opportunity to explore the real world around them. High tech supplies are hard to come by and the chance to really see what is happening outside their own doors and windows rarely happens.

Our true challenge is to fulfill the dreams and desires of our young students who are excited about science! They want to learn and we want to educate in the best possible way we can.

Our students need a set of microscopes and specimen slides so they can learn how to properly make observations about the world around them. The benefit to these young scientists will be the introduction to life long skills that will aid them in their educational studies all the way through college and beyond.

You will make it possible for our students to expand their interest is directions never before thought possible. Your help will encourage young minds to go beyond the ordinary and focus on the endless possibilities of true imagination.
