Everyone needs to be prepared for life in the real world. My Foods and Nutrition class for seniors gives students the chance to practice preparing foods so that they are more comfortable with cooking when they are out on their own.

Students are often limited to specific foods because of the poor condition of some of our bakeware. Many of the dishes have been in the Family and Consumer Sciences program are more than 20 years old.

New cookie sheets would allow students to do more baking projects. New dishes and flatware would help clean up the food labs.

Your help will make it possible for my students to practice their food preparation skills with quality supplies.
