My students need a variety of art books available for them to read in the classroom and to check out to use at home.

I teach talented visual art at several different schools in rural Louisiana. Students in this program are identified as artistically gift and are driven to create!

The school libraries have very few art books available for students to check out. I have a few basic books that students can read and check out from the classroom, but they need more!!!

I would love to be able to provide a wider variety of books for my students. I want to include more topics such as printmaking, tessellations, and art history. I would also like to include a book on careers in art for these future artists!

The arts are an essential part of learning and help students develop important critical thinking skills. I hope you will consider supporting the artist of the future!
