My students need a big long lens so we can take great sports pictures. We have the digital cameras, but need this one big lens to take sports and wildlife photos.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

You go to a football game and you are so far from the players that you can't get very good pictures. Help my students get those great sports shots with a big long lens. Also great for nature photography and other events where you want close-ups.

We are a multimedia academy program within a California public school.

Our students are very creative and take digital photography as Sophomores and are ready and able to take great pictures. We also teach video production, animation, and visual effects.

My Project

We have some Canon T2i cameras but only have the kit lenses (yuk). We need some good lenses. This will help out quite a bit with our sports and nature photography. Also, just for taking photos of school events; it's really cool to zoom in from far away and get that compressed depth in the image.

Students need top-notch equipment.

This is an expensive lens, but very much worth it as it is a professional level lens. Our goal is to give our students the best equipment and the best learning experience. Please help with whatever you can give toward this project. We will send you great pictures!
