On the ball students! I am an inner-city public Montessori classroom teacher for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students. I have each of my students for three years. I get the unique opportunity to watch them grow academically and physically.

I have a high number of ELL (English Language Learners) and students who qualify for free or reduced lunch in my classroom. I want to give them this simple tool to succeed and focus their learning each day.

My students need 27 stability balls to replace the chairs in our classroom. They will use these balls at desks or tables. Due to the different age groups in our classroom, the students benefit from being able to get some of their energy out, while working. This environment will also allow for students to use the ball for exercise and stretching as well.

Your help will ensure that my students can reach their full potential through the ability to focus on their work. During the three years in our classroom, students will also become more aware of their own physical fitness. Through this donation, students will have the opportunity to improve their success rate academically and improve their awareness for lifelong health.
