I teach at a small, rural Title 1 school in Tennessee. This means over 50% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. The teachers at my school go above and beyond to ensure our students feel loved and leave with a well rounded education. My goal as the school librarian is to get quality literature in the hands of our students. With your help, our students can have another avenue for quality children's literature through Speakaboos. Students will be able to access the Speakaboos website by computer or iPad at school and home. Through my role of librarian, I will ensure that each child is introduced to Speakaboos and knows how to navigate the site. I will personally send a letter to each student's parent highlighting the benefits of Speakaboos and directions on how to use the site at home.
