I work in a Title 1 school in Texas. My students are very sweet, and love to come to school. I have heard educators in many districts say that it is so difficult to get their students interested and engaged in learning. Well yes, this is true unless you can meet them where their interests are. I have worked very hard to learn about my students' interests this year. One thing I have learned is that my students beam when technology is in front of them. It really gets them excited about learning!
