This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are individuals who are full of energy.

They embrace diversity and encourage others to do the same. They are kind and thoughtful beings. They are our future leaders, caretakers, judges, journalists, chefs, accountants, and so much more.

My Project

I am requesting 5 Chromebooks to research, create, collaborate, and present new information. Learning has to be relevant and interesting. My wish is to have a Chromebook available for each group of students (4-5 in a group). My students will be able to research different topics, create presentations to show what they have learned, and collaborate with other kids their age in the United States. I have already partnered with a fourth grade classroom in Baltimore, Maryland; Tampa, Florida; and Austin, Texas.

This donation will allow me to provide inquiry-based learning opportunities on a day-to-day basis.

Their lives will be changed for the better because, as Maya Angelou often said, "When you know better, you do better."
