This past fall DonorsChoose.org posted a company profile on InternMatch, seeking winter interns. A few weeks later we were matched!
Here is our Logistics and Business Relations Intern, Joesph, in his own words:
While I am an intern and not a full-time staff member, I have been given real projects and been able to play a significant role in DonorsChoose.org’s mission to best serve teachers and their needs. Analyzing this data helps the organization make more informed decisions about how to get the right resources at the lowest possible cost.

As of November 2011, we are excited to launch our new “Join Our Team“ career portal where job seekers can now search for open full-time and part-time positions at DonorsChoose.org and submit a resume and cover letter online!
Even when there are no positions currently open or you don’t see one that matches your skills, we invite you to submit your resume anyway so that we can contact you when a future opening that matches your experience becomes available. We are always searching for top talent who are passionate about our work!
For job seekers already subscribed to our blog, we will continue to post announcements about open positions here on the blog in the “Job Opportunities” section, but the blog post will now point you to the full job description on our “Join Our Team” site where instructions will be outlined for applying online.
These positions will report directly to DonorsChoose.org’s CTO and will play a central role in an agile organization that is serious about technology.
The right candidates are top-notch contributors with a proven track record of success, who will be comfortable in DonorsChoose.org’s start-up atmosphere and ready to play a key technical role on a small, dedicated team. Our team is smart, committed, and passionate, and the work environment is informal, fast-paced, and fun.
Thanks for helping us grow our team so we can serve even more classrooms!

The Program
The mission of our internship program is to provide college students with exposure to and work experience in the nonprofit sector. Because DonorsChoose.org is still a relatively new organization, interns have the unique opportunity to contribute to its growth and scalability.
