Looking to add some anti-bullying lessons in your classroom? Thanks to the amazing generosity of Townsend Press, bullying education projects are getting some much needed support. There are two ways you can benefit:
1. Bullying education projects requesting the new Townsend Press book “Bullying in Schools” as an integral part of the project will qualify for a special Almost Home offer.
2. Other bullying education projects will qualify for a Double Your Impact offer.
Check out these fantastic examples of how your fellow teachers are working bullying education into their classes:
- A bullying literature library, with parent engagement!
- Bullying books, journaling, and games
- Students creating their own bullying stories
- Flip video cameras to create bullying PSAs and skits
- Books and games to prevent cyberbullying
For both funding offers, projects must cost less than $600 total (including shipping and fees) and serve students at a high poverty school. Projects will be added to the campaign weekly at the discretion of the grantor.
If you have a bully problem, print a sign that says:
WE EXPOSE BULLIES HERE:>>> http://www.exposethebully.net/
and post it all over your school, workplace or blog.

Is it $600 max before the Donorschoose optional donation or including that?

The $600 maximum includes the optional donation, so make sure the final total cost is less than $600.

How long does it usually take to get the Almost Home posted on a project? I have a bullying project, and I am unsure if it qualifies for the Double Impact or Almost Home?

The Townsend Press offer is definitely still going on. Projects are added to the Double Your Impact or Almost Home offer once per week, so stay tuned, and if your project qualifies you’ll see it soon.

My anti-bullying project was posted 12 days ago and hasn’t received a match. I thought I met the criteria…not sure why it hasn’t qualified. Project 656618
